Bio Billy Pols
BILLY POLS (1977) directed commercials for brands like Martini, Corona and Sportlife. His short documentary Plank was shown at the IDFA Festival and broadcasted on Dutch public television. Public broadcasting corporation VPRO immediately bought his graduation film project My House. His short film Tokkeloshe about a South-African myth was selected for the Golden Calf Competion and received a Shocking Shorts Honourable Mention at the Dutch Film Festival. According to the jury the film was 'outstanding on all levels'.
